Getting Started
Taking the step to begin therapy takes courage. This page tells you about what to expect and how to begin.
Sessions are $150 for 50 minutes.
I believe good therapy should be accessible. If fees are a barrier, please get in touch. I am happy to have an honest conversation about what's possible.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO. Many extended health insurance plans cover psychotherapy. I can provide receipts for insurance reimbursement.
When starting out, I see clients weekly or bi-weekly. Regular sessions help maintain continuity and allow insights and coping strategies to build gradually. Large gaps between sessions can slow progress. The predictability of weekly and biweekly sessions helps regulate the nervous system and maintains a sense of safety and stability.

Free consultation
Before committing to anything, I offer a free 20-minute consultation. This is a chance for us both to get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
You might use the time to ask questions about my approach, share a little about what brings you to therapy, or simply get a feel for how I communicate. There is no pressure to continue, and no obligation to book.
What to expect when you reach out
I aim to respond to all enquiries within two business days. In your first message, you're welcome to share a few words about yourself and what you're looking for. Even just your name and why you're interested in a consultation is enough to start.
Where I practice
Online: I work with clients across Ontario via secure, encrypted video platform. Online sessions work well for many people and offer flexibility in scheduling and location.
In person: I offer in-person sessions at the Village Healing Centre in Toronto's Roncesvalles neighbourhood (west end). The space is warm, accessible, and designed to support healing.
Walk and Talk Therapy: For those interested, I also offer Walk and Talk sessions in High Park, which is close to the Village Healing Centre. These sessions combine gentle movement with conversation in a natural setting.

Who I Work With: I work with individuals aged 8 and up: children, youth, adults, and elders.
